Job Description

The Provincial Intelligence Fusion & Threat Assessment Center (PIFTAC), operating under the Government of the Punjab's Home Department, has announced a significant recruitment drive for 2026. This initiative seeks to fill multiple market-based, lump-sum pay package positions across a diverse range of critical areas. Opportunities are available in cutting-edge technology and digital roles (including Chief Technology Officer, Deputy Director/Assistant Director for Application Development, Networks, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Sciences), as well as core intelligence, counter-terrorism, and analysis functions (covering Land/External Terrorist Organizations, Militant Organizations, Illegal Spectrum, Counter Finance Terrorism, Violent Extremism, and Legal analysis). Additionally, administrative and support roles such as Assistant Director (HR & Admin), Account/Junior Clerk, Mess In-charge, Administrative Assistant, and Driver are open. This presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a specialized intelligence and threat assessment environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data science initiatives.
  • Conduct intelligence analysis and counter-terrorism operations related to various threats.
  • Oversee and manage administrative, HR, finance, and support functions.
  • Develop and maintain software applications and IT infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support and maintain networks and cyber security systems.
  • Analyze open-source intelligence.
  • Manage legal aspects of counter-terrorism.
  • Perform clerical duties, manage mess facilities, and provide administrative support for protocol, transport, and communication.
  • Operate vehicles as a driver.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 16 years of education (2nd division or equivalent CGPA) in relevant fields such as Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Strategic Studies, Criminology, Peace & Conflict Studies, Political Science, International Relations, or related disciplines from an HEC-recognized university for most technical and intelligence positions.
  • Relevant post-qualification experience, typically 4–15 years, with a preference for experience from Armed Forces, ISI, MI, IB, Special Branch, CTD, FIA, or other LEAs for intelligence-related posts.
  • For certain support roles: Intermediate, diploma, or specific technical certifications.
  • Foreign degree holders must submit equivalence certificates from HEC, Islamabad.
  • Experience claimed must be post-qualification.
  • Domicile of Punjab Province is required.
  • Government/Semi-Government employees must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
