• The Government of Pakistan’s Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training, operating through the Daanish Schools Authority, is actively seeking highly qualified and motivated individuals for Principal and Teacher positions. These essential roles are available at various Daanish Schools located in Bagh and Bhimber (Azad Jammu & Kashmir), and Ghanche, Sultanabad, and Astore (Gilgit-Baltistan). These are contract-based opportunities open to eligible candidates from across Pakistan, including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, with recruitment conducted purely on merit through the Education Testing Council (ETC) / Higher Education Commission (HEC).
• Key highlights include:
• Principal positions are offered on a 2-year contract, extendable by an additional 2 years based on performance.
• Teacher positions are offered on a 3-year contract, extendable subject to satisfactory performance.
• All applications must be submitted online via the ETC/HEC portal.
• The application deadline is fifteen (15) days from the advertisement's publication date.

Requirements & Qualifications

• **Application Process:**
• Visit the official portal: http://etc.hec.gov.pk
• Register and carefully complete the online application.
• Ensure all personal information, especially CNIC, mobile number, and email, is accurate. Applications with incorrect CNIC or parental CNIC will be rejected.
• Pay a non-refundable test fee of Rs. 1,200 through 1Link / 1Bill Invoice Payment Service.
• Verify the online payment on the ETC dashboard after completion.
• Only SUBMITTED applications will be considered; incomplete or saved applications will not be entertained.
• Regularly check the ETC/HEC portal and Daanish Schools Authority website for roll number slips, test schedules, and interview notices.
• On the test day, bring your original CNIC / Passport and Roll No. slip.
• Mobile phones and electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the test center.
• **General Eligibility:**
• Open to candidates from all over Pakistan, including Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
• Recruitment will be purely on merit through the Education Testing Council (ETC) / Higher Education Commission (HEC).
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
• Serving government employees must apply through the proper channel and produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
• The Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease posts or cancel the process at any stage.
• **Principal Vacancies (05 posts – one for each school):**
• Age Limit: Up to 63 years.
• Qualification: Minimum 16 years’ education (Master’s degree, at least 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum 17 years’ experience as a Principal or senior faculty.
• Credentials: Strong leadership & school administration skills; English proficiency.
• **Teaching Posts (04 posts per school – 02 Male / 02 Female):**
• Age Limit: Up to 50 years for all teaching posts.
• Minimum Requirement for all teaching posts: 2nd Division or CGPA 2.50/4.00 or 3.50/5.00 from an HEC-recognized institution + Good English communication skills.
• **Required Qualification (16 years’ education):**
• Mathematics Teacher: Master’s / BS / BSc (Hons) / BA (Hons) in Mathematics.
• English Teacher: Master’s / BS / BSc (Hons) / BA (Hons) in English Language / Literature / TEFL / TEIL / TESOL.
• Urdu Teacher: Master’s / BS / BSc (Hons) / BA (Hons) in Urdu.
• Chemistry Teacher: Master’s / BS / BSc (Hons) / BA (Hons) in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
• Physics Teacher: Master’s / BS / BSc (Hons) / BA (Hons) in Physics.
• Biology Teacher: Master’s / BS / BSc (Hons) / BA (Hons) in Biology / Biological Sciences.
• Islamiyat Teacher: Master’s / BS / BSc (Hons) / BA (Hons) in Islamiyat / Islamic Studies / Shahadat-ul-Alamia.
• Social Studies Teacher: Master’s / BS / BSc (Hons) / BA (Hons) in History / Social Studies / Pakistan Studies / International Relations / Political Science.
• General Science Teacher: Master’s / BS / BSc (Hons) / BA (Hons) in Biology / Physics / Chemistry.
• Computer Science Teacher: Master’s / BS / BSc (Hons) / BA (Hons) in Computer Sciences / Software Engineering / MCS (IT).
