The Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) is now accepting applications for Round 2 of its 2026 fully funded international scholarship. To apply for the Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a citizen of an eligible developing country
• Must not hold dual citizenship of any developed country
• Must have completed a bachelor’s degree at least 3 years before applying
• Must have at least 3 years of paid, full-time work experience in the development sector
• Must be in good health
• Must not have close relatives working for the World Bank
• Must receive unconditional admission to one of the participating master’s programs
• Must meet all admission requirements of the selected university

Applicants are NOT eligible if

• They previously received a JJ/WBGSP scholarship and did not graduate
• They previously declined a JJ/WBGSP scholarship offer
