Job Description

The Environment Protection & Climate Change Department (EPCCD), under the Government of Punjab, is inviting applications for the Chief Minister Punjab Climate Leadership Development Internship Program (Batch-III, Phase-II). This paid internship, titled 'Climate Leadership Intern,' offers young graduates a unique opportunity to become 'Climate Warriors' and drive environmental change across Punjab. The program provides a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000 for a duration of 3 months. Selected candidates will gain hands-on field experience, access a modern Learning Management System (LMS), complete capstone projects guided by industry experts, and receive international UNFCCC-aligned certification. Interns will be deployed district-wise across Punjab, allowing them to serve in their local districts and engage in local environmental problem-solving. This program emphasizes practical exposure to EPA Field Offices, Strategic & Development Units, Communications, and Climate Policy Units. Special encouragement is given to non-degree/foreign graduates and students. The selection process is merit-based and automated. The deadline to apply online is September 18, 2026.
